Yiangos Georgiou

Yiangos Georgiou is a Research Associate at the Visual Computing Group, CYENS, where he works on deep learning approaches for realistic urban texture generation and urban environment understanding. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Cyprus, under the supervision of Dr. Melinos Averkiou and Prof. Evangelos Kalogerakis.
He holds an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam (2019), where he studied machine learning, natural language processing, data mining, computer vision, and autonomous multi-agent systems. He earned his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus (2017), acquiring a strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software development principles.
